As a school we adhere to a number of policies, agreed and ratified by our Governing body. These can be found here for you to download and read.
Should you require paper copies of any of these policies, please get in touch with Linda Bristow in our school office and we will be happy to arrange this for you.
Statutory Policies
All Statutory Policies are read and verified by the Curriculum and Policies Committee before being ratified at a Full Governing Body Meeting.

Child Friendly Policies
For some of our policies, we have made 'Child-Friendly' versions. These are shared with children and allow us to make sure everyone in school knows what our approach is. They are also very useful as a quick overview for staff and parents too!
General Data Protection & Freedom of Information
As a school, Newby complies with all of the requirements set out in law in the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR). A policy can be found here on the website.
We have also shared our Privacy Notices for interested parties. These Privacy Notices are written and provided by the school's Data Protection Officer, Veritau.
